How to put the glam in glamour?

I love showing people how to put the cat in the cat's meow in make up. How can you achieve that spark or that flare in your mac or ricky's boutique eye shawdow pallette? Do I need to invest in make up brushes ?

Well the answer to the first question is practice and trail and error. A good magazine or two can be a great coach. You want to achieve that flawless style and aim for the magazine cover look. Brushes are essential because different brushes can help you get different looks. It's like you are painting color on someone's eyelid. It may seem easy but just like in Home Depot when buying a gallon of paint and you don't know what you are doing you can make a disaster.

Trust me time and time again I have seen women of all colors make horrible mistakes to their eye make up and they will admitt to you that it's ok. We all know it looks more towards Nitemare on Elm street than Vanity Fair.

So what can one do ? I would personally shop around for brushes. They are so many different types and styles of brushes one can have... Like little by little ask around see what brushes do what and play around see what schemes you can come up with.

Calendar Signing @ Nikki Beach - South Beach Florida

This past weekend was one of my calendar signings at Nikki Beach - 01 Lounge in South Beach Florida this past Saturday. I was truly excited and honored to be apart of this event. As the says go by I will be signing and promoting this calendar shot of me before June 2010 hits and then of course in June at local shops and venues. Sometimes when you do alot of things you wonder if there's really a turn out. Like is this going to be printed for real ? Or is it just a photo for you to shop around... Well I found out it wasn't and through hard work and dedication I got into this project.

I thank God and all of his blessings that he has delievered along the way. Well Toodles for now...

LATEST MAKE UP SMASH AT DEAD PIXEL STUDIOS IN DAVIE FLORIDA

I was delighted to know that when I did a shoot with Dead Pixel Studios a while back how did my photos turn out. I couldn't see the other photos however I am more than happy to know that my photos did in deed turn out very well. I was directed to look on the site by another photographer I cam across with when I shot for TYE Studios in Ft. Lauderdale this past Wednesday.

I wanted to look daring more fierce and chic since well a the following day I had to set up the shoot for the cover of my other online magazine The Miami Style which featured the Clarke Twins. Of course as always the shoot was a smash hit and the twins looked their best. I was not shocked at all because well for starters I chose them and have worked with them in the past.

In the following picture I am wearing one of Miami's rarest and most daring fashion designer's clothing. The daring , the magnificent and the crowd pleasing Julio De Leon Couture. This was one of his past fashions however it makes necks turn when one decides to strut her stuff along Collins avenue in Miami Beach Florida.

Make up and hair was done by yours truly of course. I wanted the make up to scream out look at me I am fierce.

The key to good make up artistry to me is by far ones willingness to be bold and to showcase one's skill with the brush. It's not all about how much you spend but how you apply it. Yes of course quality make up is ideal but what is the use if you don't have any technique to pull it through. As for now my lovely readers I'll bid you adieu.

CALENDAR COMES OUT IN JUNE

Well aside from my make up skills and music career I am a local model here in Miami Florida. I tend to expand my skill by doing more events, appearances, shows and whatever else that will help me succeed. I am thrilled to know that in June 2010 My debut calendar will be showcased for Hidden Treasures Magazine. It was such a pleasure and a delight to know that I was one of the chosen few to be apart of this wonderful magazine.





Keep in mind that I do have a whole lot on my plate , I am so honored to know that there are some people out there who believe in me.






Hopefully in time as I grow larger and larger I can reflect at all my accomplishments and say wow I can't believe I did this all in such a short time.

Notes of reflection: I look to the heavens and thank the universe for all that has been given to me during the years.

CREATIVE MAKEUP ARTISTRY

So far I have been focusing on my craft as a mua stylist. At first Iwasn'table to showcase my talent but as the opportunities rise I find myself in more and more opportunities. I am so thankful and privaledged to know that I have this support. Here are two of my latest work and I am so thankful to be in this industry.

Fashion to me is life. I love to illustrate things that most see as dull or boring or just common. I love to go for extremes and change the common to unusual and strange. Something that most won't see as real.

This is the core to my craft and I am so thankful that I can show the world what I do.
